Bama Bear Lodge is located in Catawba Falls Preserve in Black Mountain, North Carolina. This secluded location with long range mountain views is the perfect venue for your event. Wedding size is limited to 60 people total including bridal party.
You must secure rental of Bama Bear Lodge through VRBO at a separate cost for a minimum of 3 nights. House number on VRBO is 1071348.
You must have someone as contact person for the event such as a wedding planner. This person will be given Bama Bear Lodge homeowners names and numbers for communicating before, during, and after event as needed. We recommend someone other than direct participants in the event.
No pets allowed.
Smoking is only allowed for event only in designated outside area. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in designated container and not thrown down on the property.
No burning candles, sparklers, fireworks allowed. Battery operated candles are allowed.
No parking on the street.
Outdoor music must end by 10:00 p.m. Event must conclude by 11:00 p.m.
All caterers and bartenders must be state licensed.
Waivers which will be provided must be signed by all vendors (caterers, florists, bartenders, musicians, photographers, etc..).
Only 18 adults or 18 adults and 6 children are allowed to stay at the home. All other guests must find alternate lodging.
